Wendy Zanders - Your Declutter Coach, LLC (Your Declutter Coach) is a woman- and veteran-owned and operated business based in Arizona. Wendy is a Professional Organizer who is passionate about helping special needs families like hers take their homes and papers from Overwhelmed to Simplified. 


Wendy draws upon her experience juggling a full work schedule, family life, and living with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and anxiety, as well as raising children who are living with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), to understand and meet the needs of her clients and their families.


Wendy’s experiences allow her to recognize, empathize, and help clients who are living with mental illnesses and struggle with cluttered and disorganized homes. She knows that one size does not fit all, so she supports families with her compassionate, non-judgemental, and tailored approach.

About the Role

As the Operations Manager, you’re a critical part of our team. You enjoy managing the day-to-day operations of a thriving and ever-changing business and are always looking for ways we can simplify, streamline, and improve efficiency. You’re never afraid to bring new ideas to the table for how we can improve the business and you see the possibilities that exist around every corner. You’re able to take big picture ideas and turn them into actionable plans that can be executed and implemented with ease. 

In this Role, You Will:

  1. Collaborate with the Founder to filter and translate intangible big picture ideas into functional goals and plans for the company that the team can easily bring to life.

  2. Continuously look for ways to improve, streamline and enhance the company’s processes, backend operations, and technical software to maximize efficiency and effectiveness and improve the overall customer experience.

  3. Execute the business vision, driving and delivering results to help us achieve and/or exceed financial and operational objectives.

  4. Identify opportunities for capital improvements across the company, including areas to improve revenue, increase margins, reduce costs, and increase profitability.

  5. Consistently demonstrate a passion for vision and values alignment, as well as focus, simplicity, and clarity across the company.

  6. Manage day-to-day operational and administrative tasks, such as: processing inquiries, scheduling meetings and client follow up communication, setting up collaborations, etc.

  7. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices, where and when relevant.

  8. Provide various support such as conducting research, updating and managing client and project management tools, and assisting with other operational tasks, as needed.


While you will not have any supervisory responsibilities upon immediate hire, this position will eventually grow into a leadership role. When that time comes, you will also:

  2. Oversee daily operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the team is consistently working together toward common goals.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position will have no immediate supervisory responsibilities, but will add supervisory responsibilities as the company grows and the position expands.


Work Environment

This is a 100% remote position; however, candidate must be a resident of the state of Arizona. Your work environment may be of your own choosing, whether that’s in a home office, the playground, the beach, or elsewhere. You are responsible for securing your own work location, including any associated costs and fees.


Physical Demands

The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Able to speak and hear clearly to communicate in writing, by phone, and by video.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time remote work position with a flexible schedule that consists of approximately 10 hours of work per week. Candidates must be a resident of the state of Arizona. There may be a chance for increased hours during busy periods and/or as the company grows. 



Some minimal travel for quarterly team meetings possible.


Education and Experience

  1. Minimum of two years of related work experience required.

  2. Intermediate technical skills and ability to figure out things as they arise.

  3. Relevant operations and/or project management certification or degree highly desired.

  4. Experience using the following a plus: Google Suite, Wix (or other website platform), 17Hats (or other client relationship management software), ActiveCampaign (or other email platform), and Acuity Scheduling (calendar scheduling software)
